"Axel" is a flashy mahogany brindle. "Axel" has a zest for life always clowning around. He is sound in temperament and in health. He is a medium sized, square built dog of good substance with a short back, and well developed muscles. His gate is firm yet elastic and is stride is free and ground covering. His carriage is proud. His head is in harmonious proportion and his muzzle is short and broad. His bite is wide and close. His expression is intelligent and alert. His eyes are dark. "Axel" finished his Championship at 18 months with limited showing. He loves the show ring.

It with a heavy heart and tear filled eyes that I write about the passing of our beloved boy Axel. Axel's loving owners Jan and Kelly Brugger had to put him to rest on August 8, 2008 due to lymphoma cancer. It was so hard for them that they just got the courage to call me. He was their oldest child so they called him. Their two boxers were their kids. Axel shared his life with a female boxer called Dixie. She died 2 weeks after Axel's passing. The grief for Jan and Kelly was almost unbearable but God works in mysterious ways and brought them a stray pregnant cat to their doorstep who they have been able to love and care for along with her kittens that they gave to wonderful homes and kept one along with the Mommy cat. They had the mommy cat spayed and they are on a new journey with two new furry friends. I am sure Axel and Dixie are in heaven running and playing with all the other boxers. Rest in Peace my dear sweet boy.
